Isabel Popple is the Book Selection and Purchasing Manager at BookTrust, the UK’s largest children’s reading charity that has a mission to get every child reading regularly and by choice. Her role is to manage the curation and selection process which determines which books BookTrust will share with children, especially those who are disadvantaged, through its wide range of programmes, packs and resources. By convening groups of experts together, Isabel plays a critical role to put the needs of children at the forefront so they get to enjoy high quality, age appropriate, inclusive books and stories that will inspire them on their reading journeys. Isabel is very immersed in the children’s book world and can happily spend all day reading and discussing children’s books.
