Evie Pickerill is a British TV presenter and live events host, best known as one of the leading faces of the much-loved children’s channel, CBeebies. Her work centres on connecting with and supporting young audiences, both on screen and beyond. Born from Evie’s firm belief that it’s important for little ones to feel comfortable answering the question ‘“How are you?’ and begin to develop the tools to explore their emotions, in 2024 Evie launched ‘Evie Asks… How Are You?’ . This gentle, playful space, designed to help children explore their emotions, was awarded Silver at the British Podcast Awards 2025.

Alongside her presenting work, Evie has a background in theatre and live performance and regularly hosts large-scale events and festivals. Away from broadcasting, she is a passionate advocate for children’s wellbeing demonstrated through her work with Place2Be and Children with Cancer UK. Aligning with her passion for storytelling, creativity and children’s wellbeing, Evie is thrilled to be on the judging panel for the Children’s Non-Fiction & Illustrated Book of the Year at The British Book Awards 2026 (aka ‘The Nibbies’), as well as judging the Young Fiction Category for the Week Junior Book Awards.
