Emma Scott is Director of Commissioning and Editorial at Calibre Audio. She is responsible for selecting the diverse range of books for Calibre Audio’s collection, liaising with publishers to achieve the greatest choice of audio titles and working with the production team to ensure they are available in all the formats that Calibre Audio offer. Emma also oversees the book group support service along with facilitating some of the book groups run by Calibre too. Prior to joining Calibre Audio in 2016, Emma spent fourteen years working for her local library service and her appreciation and understanding of the pleasure and wellbeing benefits that reading can bring show through all areas of her role. Emma enjoys both adult and children’s books and spends her spare time reading as much as she can, her favourite moment is the bit in between finishing one book and the anticipation of choosing what to read next!
