I am one of the founders of Book Clubs in Schools (BCiS) www.bookclubsinschools.org. We provide all the training and materials for schools to run interactive peer-led books clubs at scale. I also work for Give a Book www.giveabook.org.uk which puts books into the hands of both adults and children in the hardest to reach places such as prisons - our Raising Readers project connects prisoner parents with their children through sharing a book.

For fun, I co-present the podcast Mostly Book Talk with Katy Donnelly www.mostlybooktalk.com, chatting to authors, librarians and people with interesting ideas which encourage young people to read and twice a week I co-present the Breakfast Show on community radio - Riverside Radio - www.riversideradio.com with of course its own monthly book club - Riverside Reads. Reading for fun is at the core of everything I do.
