An actor, presenter and Ambassador for Mencap, George Webster was catapulted into the public eye when he spoke about Down syndrome in his myth-busting video for BBC Bitesize and was later asked to be a presenter on CBeebies. George is the first CBeebies presenter with Down syndrome. In November 2022, he won a BAFTA (Children and Young People Awards) for Best Presenter. In December 2022, George was a contestant on BBC Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special alongside his dance partner, Amy Dowden. Geroge has co-authored three books including This is Me!, Why Not? and George and the Mini Dragon. George lives in Leeds.
