Bio
Rhys Stephenson is an English television presenter and actor, best known for his
work / antics across CBBC and CBeebies children’s TV.
Many will also know him from his fancy footwork on Strictly Come Dancing, making it
to the semi-finals with pro-dancer Nancy Xu, on her debut season.
Since then, Rhys has appeared on a number of television shows including Blue
Peter, The Wheel, and even winning his week on Richard Osman’s House of Games
(something he never fails to remind people about).
Rhys can also be seen on BBC’s ‘Morning Live’ weekday magazine programme,
where he regularly presents his ‘Strictly fitness’ segment, as well as special outside
broadcasts.
When he’s not appearing on the small screen, Rhys can often be found supporting
Place2Be, in his role as charity Ambassador – helping to raise awareness and funds
for the children’s mental health charity, through social campaigns, in-person events,
and media activity.
No stranger to the red carpet, Rhys hashosted the British Book Awards (or Nibbies as its playfully nicknamed) for the last three years alongside Lauren Laverne; presented the Royal Television Society (RTS Awards) with Katie Thistleton; and hosted the National Youth Theatre’s ‘First days’ Gala, alongside Gabby Roslin and Joel Dommett.
