Children’s Choice
The Children’s Choice Award is one of the most exciting categories in The Week Junior Book Awards, as it gives young readers the chance to have their voices heard.
Your vote can help decide which book will be named the overall winner from this year’s shortlist. It could be a book you’ve already enjoyed or one that’s at the top of your reading list.
The title that receives the most reader votes will be awarded our special Children’s Choice Award. To take part, simply complete the form and choose the book from the shortlist that you feel deserves to win.
There are 73 brilliant books to explore, grouped by category, but only one can take home the trophy.
Everyone who casts a vote will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a book bundle worth more than £300*.

2025 Winner
In 2025, we were thrilled to receive over 1,400 votes from children across the country, each championing the books and authors they loved most from the shortlist. The winner was clear from the start: Happy Days: 365 Facts to Brighten Every Day of the Year. Its success shows just how much wellness and positivity continue to inspire children today.
