At the heart of the book trade since 1858

The Week Junior are proud to be partnering with The Bookseller  to produce The Week Junior Book Awards. The Bookseller has been the UK's definitive book industry magazine since 1858, featuring news, analysis, sales charts, book previews and more both in print and online. Each week's issue of the magazine includes four dedicated children's sales data charts, and once a month we run a preview of children’s titles that will be published in three months' time, including editor's picks and ones to watch.

Throughout the year, The Bookseller host industry-leading conferences and events, including the British Book Awards and our annual Children’s Conference. The Children’s Conference is the largest of its kind in the UK, gathering together professionals from across the broad spectrum of children's publishing to share ideas and insights.

“We are delighted to be collaborating with The Week Junior on these much-needed new awards for children’s books, authors and illustrators. This is a sector doing outstanding work and these prizes will make sure the creatives and publishers behind these books receive the exposure they need as well as the recognition they merit. I’m particularly pleased to see The Week Junior taking the lead in bringing its trusted brand and huge reach into the fold to support children’s books at a moment when the conversation around how best to champion writing for children has become vital.” – Editor Philip Jones
